It's almost tax time Yippeeeee

I am not really excited about that. This is the time of year I wish that I had a regular job. Doing taxes when you are a business owner is a job in itself. Every year I say that I am going to hire someone else to do the taxes, but every year I end up just doing them myself. I must enjoy torturing myself or something.
I like to start the taxes as early as possible because it usually takes me several days or even weeks to complete the task. I usually start by thinking "OK, this year wont be so bad." but in the long run it ends up being worse. There is always something I cant find or my adding skills turn out to be that of a 3rd graders.
Halfway through the task I start to drink because I think "maybe I will be able to think more clearly if I have a drink." Then I get drunk and decide to just leave the damn shit alone for the night. This is usually a nightly occurrence during tax time.
Maybe for my own health I really should have a professional do the taxes this year. I need to face the reality that I am not an accountant I am a private investigator.
